Meet Heidi
Hi, I’m Heidi — the cook, creator, and heart behind Meadowlark Living.
I’ve spent the last decade building small, meaningful businesses rooted in hospitality, plant-based food, creativity, and connection. My path hasn’t been linear or easy, but it’s shaped the way I show up today: with honesty, intention, and a deep belief that simple things can change your life.
Cooking has always been my anchor. It’s how I slow down, how I care for people, and how I reconnect with myself when life feels heavy. Over the years, I’ve learned that plant-based food doesn’t have to be complicated or perfect — it just has to feel approachable, nourishing, and doable in real life. That’s the energy I bring into everything I make, teach, and share.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you can usually find me tending to the animals, working in the garden, or chasing my son around the yard. Our home is messy, beautiful, busy, and full of love — and Meadowlark is simply an extension of that life. A place where food, creativity, and care all meet.
My work is for anyone wanting to eat more plants, live a little slower, find joy in simple routines, or rebuild their life in small, meaningful ways. I don’t come to this as an expert from a mountaintop — just someone who loves good food, gentle living, and helping others feel capable and supported.
